(Pakoštane) Die Tage werden länger, die Sonne hat spürbar mehr Energie und so ganz langsam und mit kleinen Schritten bereitet man sich auch in Pakoštane auf die bevorstehende, neue Urlaubssaison 2024 vor.
Bereits ab den frühen Morgenstunden ist es derzeit im beschaulichen Ort an der Küste Dalmatiens, zwischen Zadar und Šibenik gelegen, angenehm warm. Das ideale Wetter, um Arbeiten im Freien anzugehen und sich auf die neue touristische Saison vorzubereiten, die fast schon in den Startlöchern steht. Noch hält sich das gastronomische Angebot in Grenzen, falls man etwas anderes als Pizza essen möchte.
Die gibt es ganzjährig und in hervorragender Qualität übrigens im „Pjaca“ im Herzen der Stadt, unweit der historischen Kirche. Ebenso kommen Fans von richtig guten Burgern bei „Forty Five“ auf ihre Kosten. Doch für eine größere Auswahl an Speisen muss man derzeit noch einen kleinen Umweg bis Biograd und darüber hinaus in Kauf nehmen.
Mit Beginn der Touristensaison öffnen auch die weiteren Restaurants in Pakoštane und dann gibt es vom Spanferkel bis hin zu traditionell dalmatinischen Fischgerichten wieder die ganze Vielfalt der kroatischen Küche zu genießen.
Bis dahin wird noch fleißig Baumaterial beschafft, Holzterrassen werden repariert, Bäume in Form geschnitten und der Strand, den das stürmische Meer durcheinander gebracht hat, wird wieder begradigt und urlaubstauglich gemacht.
Denn ganz egal ob „Janice“, „Punta“ oder „Pilatuša“ oder andere Abschnitte am Strand – wo sich in den heißen Sommermonaten die Urlaubsgäste dicht an dicht drängen, herrscht derzeit Stille und Leere. Vereinzelt breiten Menschen ihre Strandtücher aus und genießen die Sonnenstrahlen.
Übrigens: So ruhig und beschaulich es abseits der Hochsaison in Pakoštane zugeht, so lebhaft und ereignisreich sind die Abende und Wochenenden in den Monaten Juni, Juli und August. Eine Übersicht über die Events in 2024 haben wir HIER veröffentlicht.

The days are getting longer, the sun has noticeably more energy and slowly and gradually people in Pakoštane are preparing for the upcoming new 2024 holiday season.
From the early hours of the morning, the tranquil town on the Dalmatian coast, located between Zadar and Šibenik, is already pleasantly warm. The ideal weather for tackling outdoor work and preparing for the new tourist season, which is almost upon us. The gastronomic offer is still limited if you want to eat something other than pizza.
This is available all year round and in excellent quality at „Pjaca“ in the centre of the city, not far from the historic church. Fans of really good burgers will also get their money’s worth at „Forty Five“. However, for a larger selection of dishes, you still have to make a small diversions to Biograd and beyond.
When the tourist season starts, the other restaurants in Pakoštane will also open and then you will be able to enjoy the whole variety of Croatian cuisine again, from suckling pig to traditional Dalmatian fish dishes.
Until then, building materials are still being diligently procured, wooden terraces are being repaired, trees are being pruned into shape and the beach, which the stormy sea has made a mess of, is being straightened and made suitable for holidays again.
Whether it’s „Janice“, „Punta“ or „Pilatuša“ or other sections of the beach – where holidaymakers crowd together in the hot summer months, there is currently silence and emptiness. Occasionally, people spread out their beach towels and enjoy the sun’s rays.
